Billy Don Jorden

BILLY DON JORDEN, 54, of Bellville, Texas passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at his home. He was born December 9, 1969, in Rosenberg, Texas, the son of Gabriel and Peggy Waggoner Jorden. Billy grew up and attended schools in the Bear Creek area, graduating from Mayde Creek High School in 1988. He was united in marriage to Prudence Schweiss in Houston, Texas, on October 9, 1993. They made their home in Bellville, where they owned and operated a small but popular burger joint, The Hill. He has been the familiar face behind the grill for 11 years. When he was not grilling delicious burgers and more, Billy enjoyed going bowling. He is survived by his wife of over 31 years: Prudence Jorden of Bellville; his children: Tyler Jorden and his wife, Kaci, of Montgomery, and Jessica Laskowski and her husband, Thomas, of Bellville; his precious grandchildren: Holt and Brody Jorden of Montgomery; his sister: Gwen Gee Aubrey of Missouri; and numerous other family and dear friends. Billy was preceded in death by his parents: Gabriel Jorden and Peggy Marcou.
