Billy Ray Pereyra

BILLY RAY PEREYRA, 58, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, in Bellville.

He was born April 26, 1965, in Houston, Texas, the son of Max and Olga Everett Pereyra.  Bill grew up in the Houston area and attended schools in Jersey Village.  He moved to Tempe, Arizona for about 10 years before moving back to Houston in the late 90’s. In 2000, Bill decided to make Bellville his forever home.  During his time in Bellville, Bill found his wife, Carolyn Huffmann. They were united in marriage until Carolyn's passing in 2019. For the last several years, he was a valued employee of Valmont Industries in the maintenance department. Bill was a member of Bellville Church of Christ. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading The Bible, watching movies, going fishing, and playing cards, dominoes, and scrabble. Bill also liked spending time outside barbecuing with his dad and playing with his dog.

Bill is survived by his father: Max Pereyra of Bellville; brothers: Daniel Pereyra of Austin, and Max Pereyra, Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Katy; nephew and nieces: Jonathan, Amanda, and Emily; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Pereyra, and his mother, Olga Pereyra.
