Jack and Bobbie Sterling With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of Bobbie Collins Sterling and Jack Dunn Sterling who passed away within days of each other after 39 years of love and devotion. Bobbie’s soul entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2025, at the age of 65. Jack, 78, followed her only seven days later on January 8, 2025. Their journey together was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Bobbie and Jack were not only devoted to each other but also to their family and friends. Their laughter echoed in every gathering, and their wisdom guided many through life's challenges. Bobbie was known for her tenacious spirit, passion for life, and fearless pursuit of her dreams. Jack, with his sense of wonder, gentle strength, and unwavering support, complimented her perfectly. Together, they created a beautiful life. Their love story serves as an inspiration to us all, reminding us of the beauty of companionship and the importance of cherishing our loved ones. As we reflect on the profound impact they had on our lives, we carry their love and strength in our hearts. Their ability to face challenges hand in hand taught us all about resilience and commitment. The legacy of their bond and the lessons they imparted will continue to inspire us to live fully and love deeply. Bobbie and Jack are reunited in spirit with their parents Bobby and Lynda Collins and Frederick and Mildred Sterling; brother, Fred and wife Joyce Sterling, brother, Christopher Collins; and treasured dogs, Teddy Bear, Brownie, and Jake. They are lovingly remembered by their children, Gary Foster, Jr. and wife Penny of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jason Foster and partner Tracie Cupp of Minden, Louisiana, Jenifer Sterling and husband Andrew Snavely of Burnsville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson and husband Elijah of Minden, Louisiana, Rebecca Telesca and husband Frank of Irving, Texas, KateLyn Foster of Minden, Louisiana, and Ethan Foster of Las Vegas, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Liam, and Henry; sister, Barbara Browning and husband Rick of Denton, Texas, sister, Terrie DuBois and husband Jerry of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother Gene Sterling and wife Dee of Richmond, Texas, brother, William Collins and wife Phyllis Campbell of Dubberly, Louisiana; their adored terrier, Missy; as well as countless other extended family members and dear friends. In honor of their final wishes, a private graveside ceremony will commence in Bellville, Texas in the coming weeks.
