Brenton Timothy Williams, 31, of
Houston, Texas
, passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2022.
Brent was born on January 15, 1991, in Houston, Texas, to parents Sara Jane Finch and Dennis Timothy Williams. He grew up in Spring Valley in Houston where he graduated from Memorial High School before attending Stephen F. Austin State University.
Brent’s early years were filled with manning second base at baseball games, playing capture the flag with neighborhood friends, spending time with his grandparents, and attending services at Second Baptist Church.
In 2016, Brent moved to Calvert, Texas, where he worked on his family’s ranch. Brent loved his days on the ranch tending to horses, cows, and dogs, fixing fences, and hauling many loads of hay. In 2021, he returned to Houston where he worked alongside his father and older brother, Tyler, at the family demolition business.
An avid reader, Brent enjoyed learning about history, keeping up with current events, and studying the lion prides of Sabi Sands. He also enjoyed watching movies and tv series. On any given night, you could find Brent watching either
The Sopranos
or
Two and a Half Men
.
Brent was known for his intelligence, caring spirit, and terrific sense of humor. Throughout his life, Brent was a joy to those he met and interacted with. He was a friend to all, quick to offer a joke and a smile. He brought lightness to hard situations and connected easily with young and old alike. He was an envied dinner companion and an unmatched storyteller.
Brent touched the lives of many, and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Brent will be laid to rest in Bellville, Texas, next to his maternal grandmother, Gran, who loved “her boy” so much.
He is survived by his mother: Sara Jane Gray and her husband, Gary; father: Dennis Williams, and his wife, Katie; and brother: Tyler Williams; all of Houston. He is also survived by his sister: Mollie Williams Riddle and her husband, Alex, of Little Rock, Arkansas; nephew: Thomas Riddle, also of Little Rock; aunts: Becky Bader and her husband, Ian, of Bellville; Melissa Parrott and her husband, Wayne, of Plano; and many other dear friends and relatives.
