Carol Jean Hogan

Carol Jean (Bell) Hogan was born November 8, 1946 in Oelwein,  Iowa. She peacefully went to her heavenly home surrounded by those that loved her most on August 10, 2020 in Bellville, Texas.

Carol spent 22 years traveling the U.S. as a healthcare consultant and was recognized in the “Who’s Who of Women Executives”.  She then became Chief Executive Officer of a major HMO, and eventually started her own successful company called The Whole Solution.  After a transformative encounter with Christ, she, along with her sister, founded a ministry to the broken-hearted and abused called Heaven’s Open Door. She is also the author of her own story of God’s healing love and redemption called “Broken and Spilled Out”.

She is survived by her sister in Christ and best friend of 30 years, Suzanne Dewhitt.  Her daughter in Christ, Connie Gray, and husband Rodney.  Grandchildren Eliud Lopez, Naomi Gray, and Nicole Gray and three great-grandsons, Nathan and Jackson Lopez and Aiden Gray.  She is also survived by her niece Cheryl Dick and husband Dan who she was gloriously reunited with. Carol also had many loved friends who she considered to be her God chosen family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her sister, and her great-grandson Isaac.
