Carolyn Ann Bunch

CAROLYN ANN STARK BUNCH, 81, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at her home with her family by her.

She was born August 30, 1942, in Rio Grande City, Texas, the daughter of Alexander and Hazel Krueger Stark.  Carolyn grew up and attended schools in the Burleigh community, graduating from Bellville High School.  After graduation, she enrolled in beauty school. Later, Carolyn owned and operated Carolyn’s Corner in Bellville.

In her spare time, she was an avid bowler and a member of the Quilting Guild.  She always enjoyed playing games of any kind and really loved playing Bunko with her friends.

Carolyn is survived by her son: Nathan Bunch and his wife, DiAnna Barentine, of Conroe; grandchildren: Bryton Williams, and Blake Barentine; both of Conroe; great-grandson: Cassian Williams of Conroe; nephews: Chris Maass of Austin, and Tad Maass of Dallas; niece: Kim Stark of Arkansas; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Alexander and Hazel Krueger Stark; brother: Charles Stark; and sister: Nancy Maass.
