Charlene Marie Robertson

CHARLENE MARIE (KASNER) ROBERTSON, 94, of Bellville, Texas passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Bellville.

She was born February 8, 1926, in Marlin, Texas, the daughter of Charles and Olga (Nussbaum) Kasner.  Charlene grew up and attended schools in the Marlin area, graduating from Ben Hur High School.  She was united in marriage to George Robertson, on October 5, 1946, in Waco, Texas.  Later, they moved to Bellville, where she was a member of the Bellville United Methodist Church, owned and operated the Bellville Cleaners, and was a floral designer for 15 years for Ueckert Flower Shop.  In her spare time, Charlene enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts as well as playing solitaire, dominoes, and cooking.

She is survived by her sons: Ronnie Robertson and his wife, Judy, of Bellville, and Keith Robertson and his wife, Kathy, of Concan; grandchildren: Steven Robertson and his wife, Shannon, of Bellville, Craig Robertson of Bellville, Cooper Robertson of Uvalde, James Tyler Pawlowski of Bellville and Dawn Marie Pawlowski of Bellville; great-grandchildren: Austin Robertson of San Marcos, Lorin Hunter and her husband, Alex, of Coppell, Gracie Robertson of San Marcos and Lane Robertson of Bellville; sister-in-law: Frances Kasner; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, George Robertson, parents, Charles and Olga Kasner, brothers, John Kasner and Charles Kasner, and sister-in-law, Imogene Kasner.
