Charles William Rogers

CHARLES WILLIAM ROGERS, 83 of Bellville, Texas famously known as “Slick Willie”, owner of Slick Willie’s Family Pool Halls, peacefully passed on April 8, 2020. His beloved wife, Mary, was by his side. He was born February 27, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Dorse and Jerry (Jones) Rogers. Bill grew up in Goree, Texas and attended New Mexico Military Institute. He deeply loved animals, was gifted with an entrepreneurial spirit, and the party started when he walked thru the door. Bill made sure he had the fastest Harley Motorcycle when traveling cross country with Bus N Bikers in his Prevost. Bill and Mary moved from Houston to settle down in Bellville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorse and Jerry Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Rogers of Bellville, extended family members and a multitude of friends who loved him. Celebration of life to be determined in the near future.
