Clifford Wesley Joplin

CLIFFORD WESLEY JOPLIN, 74, of Katy, passed away suddenly on Monday September 17, 2018, at his home.

Clifford was born February 1, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, the son of James and Jewel (Weaver) Joplin.  He grew up and attended school in Dallas.

Clifford was employed by chemical plants as a pipefitter.  After his retirement, he owned and operated Joplin Lawn Care Service.  In his spare time, Clifford enjoyed visiting with family, playing games and cookouts.

He is survived by his daughter:  Carrie Ann Boehm and her husband, Chris, of Fulshear; son:  Chris Joplin and his fiancée, Antionette, of Houston; son:  James Joplin; step-son:  Robby Coomer of Dayton; grandchildren:  Chelbie Boehm and her fiancé, Reece Thompson, Sierra Joplin and Courtney Makow; and many other friends and relatives.  Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimmy Ray Joplin, and his step-son, Randy Joe Coomer, Sr.
