Clifford Durant Wilson, Jr. took flight from this world on Friday, August 23rd, after a massive stroke in the early morning of August 18th, 2019. Clifford grew up in Spring Branch, Texas, and was a cheerleader for Spring Branch High School. He went on to build a successful construction company, specializing in unique concrete work. Cliff had many hobbies, but his favorite was deer hunting. His love for wide open spaces eventually led him out to the country, where he retired with his best friend and beloved wife, Aileen.
Cliff was born to loving parents, Clifford Durant Wilson, Sr., who preceded Cliff in death in 2013, and Margaret Elizabeth Wilson on September 13th, 1955, in Houston, Texas. Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Aileen Wilson, children Clifford Durant Wilson, III and wife Kathryn E., Cullen D. Wilson, Chelsea Elizabeth Wilson, Travis Casey, Thomas Shatswell and wife Jessica, and Jennifer Casey. In addition, Cliff is survived by his much-loved grandchildren Clayton H. Wilson, Camden H. Wilson, Elijah Wilson, Angelica Wilson, Hayden Shatswell, Parker Shatswell, Maci Shatswell, Colt Steele, Brooks Steele, Ava Casey, and Bryce Casey. In addition to Cliff's mother, Margaret Elizabeth Wilson, Cliff is survived by his sister Dianna L. Huse and husband Vernon, along with nephews Don Huse and wife Jennifer, and Durant Huse. In addition to these survivors are Cliff's great nieces Jordon Huse, Madison Huse, Mikayla Huse, Bristol Huse and great nephew Jantzen Huse. Also, Clifford will most assuredly be missed by extended family, a multitude of friends and by his business associates.
As Cliff was generous in life, extending help to anyone who was in need, his generosity in passing as an organ donor has extended and improved life for several blessed recipients. Though we are inexplicably saddened by our loss we are rejoicing in knowing that he is now with Jesus and our beloved Poppi, Cliff's father. Our heartfelt thanks to all who have prayed for and supported our family through this incredibly difficult time. We love and appreciate each one of you!
