DANNY RAY SLOVAK, 50, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was born July 21, 1966, in Bellville, Texas, the son of Edwin Edward “Sonny” and Kathleen (Remmert) Slovak. Danny was baptized on July 31, 1966, at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Sealy. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Bellville and was confirmed on August 3, 1980. Danny grew up and attended schools in Bellville, graduating from Bellville High School, in 1985. Danny was employed as a Produce Manager with Brenham Wholesale and also owned and operated a lawn care service in Bellville, serving many homes in the community. Danny is survived by his son: Dakota Ray Slovak; daughter: Dawnielle Rae Slovak; mother: Kathleen Slovak; brother Buddy Slovak and his wife, Christine; sisters: Valerie Babin and her husband, David, and Melanie Wesolick and her special friend Michael Davis; nieces and nephews: Regan Taylor and her husband, Josh, Logan, Jordan and Caitlan Slovak, Kayleigh Walcik and her husband, Dusty, Stephen Babin and his fiancé, Samantha Beacher, Allayne Babin and Cody Wesolick and his special friend, Lori Coats. He is also survived by the mother of his children: Donna Edwards and numerous other family and friends.
