services are pending at this time DAVID LEE “D.L.” PRICE, 78, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, in Houston, Texas. He was born December 27, 1943, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Lloyd V., Sr. and Laura Kay Price. D.L. grew up and attended schools in Houston. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1964 and served his country for six years. D.L. was in Vietnam on two different occasions with the U.S. Navy. D.L. was united in marriage to Rose Taylor, in Houston, Texas, on December 29, 1964. They made their home in Houston, before calling Bellville home for the past 40+ years. He owned and operated D.L. Price Electric Company in Bellville for many years, serving Austin County and the surrounding areas. D.L. was a member of the St. John Lutheran in Bellville. He was also a member of the Bellville Masonic Lodge #223, Bellville VFW Post 6522, and American Legion Post 115. D.L. was a former member of the National Rifle Association and Republican Presidential Task Force. He is survived by his wife: Rose Taylor Price of Bellville; children: Paul Price and his wife, Paige, and James Price and his wife, Meredith; grandchildren: Peyton King and her husband, Josh, and Jake Price; Brandon Climie and his wife, Helen, and their children: Dana Climie and Cade Climie; and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
