Deborah Kay (Phillips) Miller, 71, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Deborah was born January 26, 1953, in Bellville, Texas, to William and Norma (Nelius) Phillips. She grew up in Brookshire and Orchard, Texas, graduating from Royal High School. Deborah furthered her education at Lone Star College, earning an associate degree as a medical assistant. She was united in marriage to Nolan Miller in Brookshire. They were blessed with three daughters, Edesa, Karri, and Alicia, and a son, Eric. A homemaker, Deborah found joy in taking care of and spending time with her family. She also worked in retail and assisted Nolan in entrepreneurship. In her spare time, Deborah was a member of a gardening club. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and playing bingo, dominoes, and card games like solitaire and gin rummy.
She is survived by her daughters: Edesa Mosher of Cypress, Karri Sidwell and husband, Michael, of Katy, and Alicia Miller of Sealy; son: Eric Miller and wife, Ana, of Katy; grandchildren: Lacey Munoz and husband, Ozzy, of Katy, Zachary Miller of Cypress, Elizabeth Miller of Katy, and Leann Miller of Katy; sister: Linda Andrews of Cypress; brother: Barry Phillips of Sealy; and her canine companions: Milo, Julia, Token, Sadie, Snowball, Bruce, Raven, Blue, Simone, and Clark.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband: Nolan Miller; parents: William and Norma Phillips; brother: Llyod Phillips; sister: Gloria Meyers; and great-granddaughter: Adelynn Munoz.
Pallbearers are Eric Miller, Zachary Miller, Michael Sidwell, Wade Purdy, Ozzy Munoz, Leann Miller, Elizabeth Miller, and Bryce Wake. Honorary pallbearer is Barry Phillips.
