Debra Lynn (Walsh) Johnson

DEBRA LYNN (WALSH) JOHNSON, 59, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in Bryan, Texas.

She was born November 12, 1960, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Michael James and Valeria Martha (Kaminski) Walsh. Debbie grew up and attended schools in the Houston area, graduating from Klein High School in 1979. She was united in marriage to Kent E. Johnson on March 6, 1982, in Houston, Texas. Debbie and Kent lived in Houston, before moving to Bellville.

She was employed as an Account Administrator for Browning Ferris and later as a Substitute Teacher for the Bellville Independent School District. Debbie enjoyed baking wedding and birthday cakes and shopping in her spare time. She also loved her pets, Tinker and Gunner.

She is survived by her husband: Kent Johnson of Bellville; sons: Kyle Johnson and his wife, Melly, of San Marcos and Kameron Johnson of Bellville; sisters: Sanda Walsh and her partner, Sammy Wells, of Spicewood, Katy Jones and her husband, Tim of George West and Mary Shreve and her husband, Joe, of Houston; brother: Michael Walsh and his partner, Cyndy Avery, of New Caney; pets: Tinker and Gunner; and numerous nieces, nephews, “adopted” children, grandchildren and other relatives and dear friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Valeria Walsh.
