DELINDA CELESTE HALTOM HOWER, 65, of Bellville Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at her home.
She was born October 25, 1958, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of William and Celeste Hohmann Haltom. Delinda grew up and attended schools in the Cypress area, graduating from Cy-Fair High School.
Delinda was employed as a manager of a laundromat. She was united in marriage to Larry Hower on May 23, 1992, in Cypress, Texas. Delinda was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Directions and Assistance Committee, and the VFW.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, and helping at the VFW, and loved bluebonnets.
Delinda is survived by her husband: Larry Hower of Bellville; daughter: Kayla Rogerie and her husband, Nicholas, of Bellville; mother: Celeste Haltom of Bellville; brothers: William Haltom, Jr. of Bellville, and Michael Haltom of East Bernard; brother-in-law: Charles Hower of Cypress; sisters-in-law: Theresa Walls, and Lora Williams, both of Corpus Christi, and Tammy Hower of Austin; mother-in-law: Linda Hower of Corpus Christi; nieces: Nevaeh Roycraft, Ava “Cherry” Hower, both of Porter; nephew: Callan Hower of Porter; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father: William Haltom, Sr., and her father-in-law: Larry Cloyd Hower.
