Deloris (Brooks) Price Huffman

DELORIS V. (BROOKS) PRICE HUFFMAN, 81, of Boerne, Texas, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born July 10, 1939, in Mertzon, Texas, the daughter of Clarence and Maxine (Coats) Brooks. Deloris grew up and attended schools in the Midland area, graduating from Midland High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to Jerry Huffman. Deloris was known by many as a very loving person, who enjoyed helping others by heading up charities and fundraisers. She had a passion for the entertainment industry, where she helped several well-known entertainers such as Ernst Tubbs, Lee Greenwood, Garth Brooks, Mickey Gilley, Charlie Pride, and Johnnie Lee in the advancement of their careers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, helping those in need, southern cooking, and her many animals. Deloris is survived by her husband: Jerry Huffman of Boerne; children: Larry Price of San Antonio, and Carlton Price of Houston; grandchildren: Chris and Stephen Candelari; son-in-law: Gene Candelari; and numerous other family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Maxine Brooks; sister: Virginia Ray Chorak; brother: Hilton Brooks; and daughter: Linda Candelari.
