Donaciana Cervantes

DONACIANA DELGADO CERVANTES, 90, of Hockley, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Donaciana was born August 7, 1925, in Mexico to parents Faustino and Anselma Ortega Delgado. She grew up and attended school in Mexico where she made her home until 1980 when she moved to the United States. While in the U.S., she lived in Chicago and Aurora, Illinois before moving to Texas 18 years ago. During her working years, Donaciana was employed as an assembly worker in a factory. She was united in marriage with Efrain Cervantes in 1994, at St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Hempstead. Efrain preceded her in death in 2011. Donaciana is survived by her daughters: Santa Botello and husband, Ivan, of Hockley, Texas, and Elfega Hernandez and husband, Salvador, of Aurora, Illinois; sons: Sirenio Delgado and wife, Aurora, of Rosenberg, Texas, Emiliano Cervantes of Texas, Ciriaco Cervantes and wife, Yolanda, of Hockley, Texas, Irinco Cervantes of Mexico, Roberto Cervantes and wife, Leticia of Hempstead, Texas, and Adrian Cervantes and wife, Lupita, also of Hempstead, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many dear friends.
