Donna Walker Zak

DONNA MARIE (WALKER) ZAK, 88, of Cat Spring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at her home.

She was born February 5, 1933, in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of Ancel and Dorothy Mae (Clingenpeal) Walker.  Donna grew up and attended schools in the Kokomo area and earning her master’s degree from Purdue University.  She was united in marriage to Clarence Zak, on December 23, 1956, in Kokomo, Indiana.  Donna was a school teacher and counselor for many years.  In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting antiques and was an avid oil painter.

Donna is survived by her sons: David Zak (Roy Klaus) of Cat Spring, and Stephen Zak of Dickson, Tennessee; four sisters: Barbara Maple (Charlie), Linda Miller (Gene), Susie Devine (Jack), and Pam Mayes; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Ancel and Dorothy Walker; husband: Clarence Zak; sister: Bonnie Maple; brothers: Billy Joe Walker, Russell Walker, and Bruce Walker.
