Eleanora Olga (Horn) Jasek

ELEANORA OLGA (HORN) JASEK, 93, of Bellville, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015, in Sealy, Texas. She was born November 10, 1921, in Bellville, daughter of August Horn and Bertha (Sontag) Horn. She grew up and attended school in the Ives Creek Community. On January 20, 1940, Eleanora married Louis Jasek in Bellville, where they made their home, raised their family and were members of St. John Lutheran Church. Over the years, Eleanora was employed at the Wilco Furniture Co., in the cafeteria at Sweetbriar Nursing Home and at Star Cleaners. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, she treasured the time she was able to spend with her family. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed crocheting, playing dominoes, watching her soap operas, dancing and fishing. Eleanora was a 50-year member of Woodmen of the World Eleanora is survived by her daughter: Margaret Faye Froebel and her husband Arthur; grandchildren: Debbie and Lenny Krause, Sheila and Rene Jurado, Deana and Jerry Brown, Thomas and Brandee Froebel; great grandchildren: Kendra and Bertram Parker, Erica Brown, Dalton Brown, Kaylee Froebel, Dawson Jurado, Andrew Jurado, and Rylan Froebel; one great great grandchild: Kinley Parker; and many other dear friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, August Horn, mother, Bertha Horn Frank, step-father Clarence Frank, husband, Louis Jasek on September 19,1984, and her sister, Helen Froelich.
