Fortunato Padron

Fortunato Padron, 60, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, in Houston, Texas.

He was born April 21, 1960, in Ayutla, Queretaro, Mexico, the son of Dionicio Padron De La Torre and Maria Veda Vasquez Gonzalez.  Fortunato grew up in Mexico.  He was united in marriage to Ofelia Landaverde, on August 14, 1988, in Mexico.  He and Ofelia moved to the United States in 1988.

Fortunato was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Acme Brick Company.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Fortunato is survived by his wife: Ofelia Padron of Bellville; daughter: Adriana Bramlett and her husband, Zachary, of San Marcos; sons: Braulio Padron of Katy, SSgt. Gaspar Padron and his fiancée, Chelsea, of Kailua, Hawaii, and Lt. Richard Padron and his wife, Lucy, of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren: Miriam Bramlett, Bear Bramlett, and Reina Padron; sisters: Francisca Padron, and Cidronia Padron; brother: Pedro Padron; Godchildren: Ivan Viedra, and Estephani Landaverde; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio and Maria Veda Padron.

Fortunato will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, supportive father, and doting grandfather.
