FRANCES PAULINE BARTLETT, 84, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, in Clear Lake, Texas.

She was born July 20, 1940, in Blythe, California, the daughter of Claude Homer, Sr. and Lora Berton Wilson Bartlett.  Frances grew up in El Campo and attended Schools in Sealy and Brazosport.  After high school, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and serviced her country from 1959 until 1961.  Frances was honorably discharged and enlisted in the Air National Guard of the USA.   In 1969, Frances moved to Brindisi, Italy, until 1972, after she returned to the United States, she lived in San Antonio from 1972 – 1976, then West Columbia until 1978, before settling in Lake Jackson.  Frances was employed at Dow Chemical as a Process Operator in the Magnesium Casting Department.

She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and dancing at the Armadillo in her spare time.

Frances is survived by her daughter: Crystal Evans and her husband, Shawn, of Garwood; grandchildren: Meagan E. Evans of Quitman, Christopher M. Hinton of Phoenix, Arizona, Gavin L. Hinton of Kingman, Arizona, Naomi E. Reyes and her husband, Gabriel, of Houston, Karras T. Hinton of Phoenix, Arizona, Kaylan R. Hinton of Glendale, Arizona, Jessica R. Samora and her husband, Mario, Jr., of Brazoria, Jadyn S. Hinton of Glendale, Arizona, and Jazuah M. Evans of Garwood; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Lora Bartlett; daughter: Rebecca E. Echazarreta; son: Christopher W. Martinez, sisters: Hazel Carpenter, and Sylvia Bartlett; and brothers: Claude Homer Bartlett, Jr., and Robert Bartlett.
