Glinda Sue Jordan

GLINDA SUE (REID) JORDAN, 82, of Waller, formerly of Bellville, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at her home.

Glinda was born January 11, 1939, in Bellville, Texas.  The daughter of Howard and Nancy (Hancock) Reid, she grew up and attended school in Bellville and Deer Park.

On May 20, 1966, Glinda married William “Billy” Jordan in Liberty, Texas.  They made their home in Tomball for twenty-five years before moving to Bellville.  Billy preceded Glinda in death on January 28, 2004.  Glinda had most recently made her home in Waller.

Glinda enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching game shows and sports, and family reunions.  She was a member of the San Felipe United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughters:  Vickie Kocurek of Weatherford, Shannon Gregory and her husband, Larry, of Crosby and Melonie Hirsch and her husband, Kenny, of Waller; sons:  Ricky Kocurek of Sealy and Darrell Jordan of Tomball; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers:  David Reid and his wife, Hazel, of Mico, and Alan Reid and his wife, Linda, of Brenham; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nancy Reid, and her husband, Billy Jordan.
