Gloria L. Pfeffer

GLORIA LUEDKE PFEFFER, 92, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, in Bellville.

She was born August 20, 1929, in Brenham, Texas, the daughter of August and Alma (Hill) Luedke.  Gloria grew up and attended schools in the Welcome area, and was later married to Woodrow Pfeffer on June 3, 1948, in Welcome.  She was employed in the inspection and printing department in the industrial manufacturing business.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to garage sales, hunting and fishing, tending to her garden and flowers, sewing, and birdwatching. Gloria was involved with the cub scouts and girl scouts.

She is survived by her daughter: Verbean Potter of Bellville; sons: Woody Pfeffer and his wife, Tonya, of Bellville, DuWayne Pfeffer and his wife, Debbie, of Harper, and Gary Pfeffer of Bellville; grandchildren: Colby Pfeffer-Davis, Cody Pfeffer, Colton Pfeffer, Darren Pfeffer, Doug Pfeffer, Dustin Pfeffer, Robert Potter, Kristina Payne, Tamara Stockton, and Zachary Stockton; eight great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Pfeffer, parents, August and Alma Luedke, and grandson Kalum Pfeffer-Davis.
