HENRY ZETTEL, 75 of Nelsonville, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020, in Bellville, Texas.
He was born July 27, 1944, in Nelsonville, Texas, the son of Chas Jacok and Albina (Chaloupka) Zettel. Henry grew up and attended schools in the Bellville area, graduating from Bellville High School in 1964. He was set up on a blind date with Susan Marie Herndon, and an hour after he met Susan, Henry told her that he was going to marry her. Henry and Susan were united in marriage on August 5, 1967, in Houston, Texas. He was employed as a machinist for the Randolph Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, gardening, watching football, eating barbeque, and listening to polka music.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years: Susan Zettel of Nelsonville; granddaughter: Amanda Rich of Nelsonville; great granddaughter: Allie Grace Robert of Nelsonville; sister: Theresa Stark of Nelsonville; brother: Charlie Zettel and his wife, Darlene, of Industry; sister-in-law: Phyllis Herndon; nieces: Lisa Kaspar and her husband Gregory; nephew: Quintes Stark, Jr. and his wife, Elida; great nieces: Lilly Kaspar, Mikayla and Ashley Stark and great nephew: Quintes Stark III all of Nelsonville Texas and numerous other dear family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chas Jacok and Albina (Chaloupka) Zettel, daughter, Tammy Lyn McFarland, sisters, Annie Zettel, Albina Zettel, and Edna Krenek, brothers, Lawrence Zettel, Elgin Zettel and James Zettel, brother in laws Quintes Stark Sr and Jerry Krenek.

Stark III, David Wallace, Tommy Thompson, and Alfred Zettel, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers were Earl Wallace, Melvin Wallace, James Schimara, Delbert Schramm.
