Hilario “Lalo” Lopez died peacefully on July 30, 2019.
Hilario was born October 21, 1941 to Adolfo and Juliana Lopez. He was born and raised in Taft, Texas. At the age of 18, he graduated from Taft High School and moved to Houston, Texas and attended cosmetology school. He then pursued his career and passion in hair and beauty. Hilario always had a smile on his face and was generous beyond belief. He was kind, hilarious and had a gentle soul. He enjoyed his family and was always ready to help in any situation life brought his way. He was a man of many talents. Hilario was an avid artist, had a green thumb and took pleasure in gardening. He enjoyed cooking, biking and loved educating himself through reading. Hilario's unconquerable spirit guided his determination. He had a flair for life and always did what his heart led him to do without regret.
Hilario is preceded in death by his parents Adolfo and Juliana Lopez, Amada Longoria, Adolfo Lopez Jr., Jose Maria Lopez, Elvira Flores and Angelina Lopez. He is survived by his sister Angie Dutka, nieces and nephews, Carlos Longoria Jr., Patsy Miranda, Gracie Solorio, Rosie (Shado) Coronado, Linda Dobbles, Adolfo Lopez III, Terri Fleming, Albert Lopez, Betty Mockler, Desi Lopez, Maria (Litcha) Garcia, Margie Hobson, Debbie Lopez, Sylvia Cuellar, Hector Flores, Nelda De La Paz, Rudy Flores, Liz Coleman, Brandy Hudman, Anthony Dutka, Alex Dutka and his God Daughter Daisy Moore.
