Jacqueline "Jackie" Marie Pfeffer

JACQUELINE MARIE “Jackie” PFEFFER, 60, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 19, 1962, in Arcadia, Florida, and soon became the adopted daughter of Larry R. and Thelma Grantham Whidden, who treated her and her brothers as if they were blood. Jackie grew up and attended schools in the Arcadia area.  She was united in marriage to David Pfeffer in 1999 in Bellville, Texas. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, crocheting, watching movies, and going to concerts.

Jackie is survived by her husband: David Pfeffer of Bellville; children: Derrick Jones and his wife, Audrey, of Bellville, Jennifer Middleton and her husband, Jack, of San Antonio, Joseph Vanwagenen of Arizona and Andrew Pfeffer of Bellville; stepdaughters: Tiffany Allen and her husband, Dennis, of Charleston, South Carolina and Megan Sandoval and her husband, Blake, of Elgin;  grandchildren: Lydia and Amelia Jones, Emma and Conner Allen; mother: Thelma Whidden; sisters: Christina Hatcher and her husband, Nathan, of Katy, and Pearl Albrecht and her husband, Richard, of Katy; brothers: Lucas Whidden and his girlfriend, Debra, of Kenney, Mark Whidden and his wife, Cynthia, of Brenham, Clifford Jones of Bellville and Jimmy Jones; and other dear family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Larry R. Whidden; grandparents: William and Pearl Whidden; uncles: David Whidden, Robert Grantham, and Russell Whidden; and aunts: Laretha Logue and Mary Weeks.

Pallbearers were her sons Derrick, Andrew, and Joseph, brother Lucas, and nephews Phillip and Corey Jackson.
