JAMES MICHAEL “Jamie” KRUPALA, 63, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his home.
He was born September 30, 1961, in Bellville, the son of Paul Krupala and Ethel Gray Krupala. Jamie grew up and attended school in Bellville. For many years, Jamie owned and operated a foundation repair company, Lifetime Foundation Restoration. Later, Jamie owned and operated Fat Dog Firearms and was well-known by all the hunting enthusiasts in and around the area.
Jamie was united in marriage to Leslie Davis, on July 23, 2008, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. He was a loving, loyal, hard-working, and protective husband and father. If Jamie were your friend, he would do anything for you. Jamie had many talents, interests, and hobbies. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and being outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and loved spending time at his property in West Texas hunting whitetails with family and friends. Jamie also traveled to many places, including Africa, Newfoundland, Mexico, and British Columbia, on big-game hunts. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren cheering them on in the things they enjoyed doing. He loved animals and had many well-loved pets through the years including dog, cats, and horses. He also made friends with all of the stray/wild animals and the neighbors’ pets. Jamie had a generous heart and often gave back to his community by making donations to many non-profits and charitable organizations through the years.
He is survived by his loving wife: Leslie Krupala of Bellville; children: Shazta Krupala of Bellville, Shatara Krupala of Brenham, and Levi Krupala of Houston; grandchildren: Jayda Kmiec, Brianna Gallaher, Lillian Kmiec, Waylen Kmiec, and Olivia Krupala; beloved pet, Mojado; mother: Ethel Smith; sister: Patsy Huffman of Bellville; brother: Paul Krupala, Jr, and his wife, Sandra, of Bellville; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
