Janet Vivian Scott

Janet Vivian Scott, 84, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Janet was born May 11, 1939, in Oregon City, Oregon, to Theodore Curtis and Mary Alma (Lacy) Wallace. She grew up in the Milwaukee area, graduating from Milwaukee High school. Janet resided in Beaver Creek, Oregon, from 1974-1981, then in central and eastern Oregon from 1981-2020, before making her home in Brookshire, Texas. She served her community as a waitress for several years. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, bowling, being outdoors, camping, and fishing and treasured every moment she spent with her family.

She is survived by her sons: Jerry Scott and wife, Yvonne, of Brookshire, Jim Scott and wife, Susie, of Elk, Washington, Tim Scott and wife, DeDe, of Hines, Oregon, and Curtis Scott and wife, Debbie, of Susanville, California; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband: James Robert Scott; son: Craig Scott; and parents: Theodore and Mary Wallace.
