Jeffery Scott Lewman, 34, of Bellville, Texas, was born March 9, 1983, and went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2018. Jeffery attended Pilgrim Lutheran School through the eighth grade and graduated from St. Thomas Episcopal School in Houston, Texas. There he excelled in swimming and participated in the TAPPS state championships. He was involved in the US Naval SEA Cadet Corps and attained the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class / PO1. He went through the US Navy boot camp at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Seabees Training School in Gulfport, Mississippi, and went to sea on a US Navy Minesweeper while a Sea Cadet. He attended Texas Tech University and studied computer science. Jeffery was currently working for the Coast 2 Coast company, doing as-built surveys throughout the country for complex renovation projects. During his off weeks he worked in the Lazy A Ranch family operation, where he lived.  He managed the Bellville Farmer’s Market days, freezer inventory, and beef orders.  He enjoyed all the different farm animals.  He loved hunting, fishing, shooting, and being in the outdoors.  He liked to show his young nephews those skills, as well as conservation of the land and wildlife.  They always looked forward to being with him at the ranch. Jeffery is survived by his wife of ten years, Terry Heard Lewman, who he adored and cared for; his parents, Jackie and Don Lewman; brother, Joseph Lewman; and Margot Terry Heard, mother-in-law. There is also a large extended family.Donations in Jeffery’s name may be made to the family’s parish, St. Barnabas Anglican Church, in lieu of flowers.
