Jennifer Ranae Stanford

Jennifer Ranae Stanford, 47, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Jennifer was born on July 3, 1972, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of James and Altia Henderson. She grew up in many different places as a child of a military family. Jennifer was united in marriage to John Stanford on May 20, 1995, in Pattison, Texas. They made their home in Pattison, Texas, where Jennifer was a member of the Pattison Area Volunteer Fire Department for 9 years. She was a loving mother to her daughters and her son. Jennifer was a kind and nurturing soul who loved to work with flowers and potted plants. She also took enjoyment in shopping at her favorite stores. She will be missed by her family and friends and her memory will live on in everyone’s heart.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years: John Stanford of Pattison, Texas; daughters: Ashton Stanford, RayAnne Stanford of Pattison, Texas, and Abigail Stanford of Pattison, Texas; son: Cameron Stanford of Pattison, Texas; grandmother: Betty Henderson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sisters: Kimberly Clendennen of Bellville, Texas, and Jaime Henderson of Chicago, Illinois; aunts: Sandra Courson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Liz Siska of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Diane Barber of West, Texas; and uncle: Bill Henderson of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Altia Henderson.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
