Jerry Duane Wilkerson

November 3, 1951 — July 17, 2022

Jerry Duane Wilkerson of Magnolia, Texas passed away in the late evening hours of July 17, 2022, in Tomball, Texas.

Jerry was born November 3, 1951, to Clyde and Ruby Wilkerson in Galveston, Texas. After attending Montgomery High School he began to follow in his father and brothers’ footsteps and become a craftsman. He spent most of his adult years in the housing business building cabinets and doing trim work along side his brother CW and two of his sons, Jody and Josh. Jerry retired several years ago and enjoyed being at home with his wife Dana and their four dogs and two cats. He enjoyed deer hunting with his brother and his boys. These trips were a source of great joy. Jerry enjoyed a good western, traveling in the hill country, hunting, fishing, and being at home with his family. He also enjoyed spending weekends watching the Texans or going to an Astros game. Jerry was a quiet, thoughtful man who loved his wife and family with his whole heart. He had a tenderness about him and a love for animals that was evident to all who knew him.

Jerry was predeceased by his father, Clyde Wilkerson; his  mother, Ruby Wilkerson; his brother, Gerald Wilkerson; sisters, Earline Hughey, Doris Mohr, Cydette Furman, and Sherry Richenbacher; also, his daughter; Jessica Mae Crenshaw; nieces, Audra Elaine Tucker and Kimberly Faye Thompson; and nephew, Darrel Gene Gertson.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Dana Wilkerson; four sons, Jody Duane Wilkerson, Joshua Dow Wilkerson, Joshua Nelson Crenshaw, and Matthew James Crenshaw; sister, Reida Faye Davis and her husband Herschel; brother, CW; grandsons Jerryd, Justyn, and Jerrimy Wilkerson, and Joshua and Colton Crenshaw; granddaughters, Korinne Wilkerson Shoemaker and Jade Mae Crenshaw; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Jerry enjoyed life, there was no doubt about that. He was an extremely giving person who was always there to share his talents and to lend a helping hand when needed. Most importantly, Jerry loved the Lord and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
