JERRY WAYNE HELMS, 78, of College Station, Texas passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, in College Station.

He was born July 1, 1944, in Waco, Texas, the son of Chester Wayne and Lois (Wade) Helms.  Jerry grew up and attended schools in the Waco and Fort Worth area.  He was employed as a plumber for years and in his spare time, Jerry enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He is survived by Lettie Seals of College Station; special friends: Jerry Don and Misty Coutney of Chappell Hill; grandchildren: Jerry Don Courtney, Jr., and Britney Nicole Courtney; niece: Patricia Wylie; nephews: Jimmy Wylie, Jason Wylie, and Thomas Wylie; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia Garrett Helms; parents: Chester and Lois Helms; and sister: JoAnne Rush.


Pallbearers are Jerry Don Courtney, and Jerry Don Courtney, Jr.
