Jerry Dean Lloyd

JERRY DEAN LLOYD, 73, of Liberty, Texas passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, in Liberty. He was born October 15, 1947, in Baytown, Texas, the son of Erastus and Jewel (Hollingsworth) Lloyd. Jerry grew up and attended schools in the Baytown area, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School. He was united in marriage to Alice Cornelius, on January 28, 1970, in Anahuac, Texas. They made their home in the Liberty and Baytown areas, where he was employed as a pipe welder in the oil and gas industry. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife: Alice Lloyd of Liberty; children: Brent Lloyd and his wife, Amy, of Spring, Jason Lloyd and Wynter, of Park City, Montana, and Katie Batot and her husband, Aaron, of Brenham; grandchildren: Kristen, Emily, Zoe, Trey, Olivia, Taylor, Julia, Josh, Farrah, Breanna, Hunter, Bailey, Allie, Weston and Maci; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Jr. Lloyd and his wife, Susan, Larry Lloyd and his wife, Cindy, and Richard Lloyd and his wife, Jenny, and a host of other family and dear friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Erastus and Judy Lloyd. Pallbearers are Brent Lloyd, Jason Lloyd, Aaron Batot, Josh Lloyd, Trey Widak, and Clay Lancaster.
