JERRY JAMES MACHAC, 76, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, in Bellville. He was born January 21, 1947, in Hempstead, Texas, the son of Frank and Janice Chaney Machac. Jerry grew up and attended schools in the Monaville area, graduating from Hempstead High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country from 1967 until he was honorably discharged in 1973. He was deployed to Vietnam for one year. After returning home, he attended the University of Texas at Austin. Jerry was employed with San Bernard Electric Co-op as a right-of-way agent for thirty-nine years retiring in January 2022. He was united in marriage to Beverly “Bee” Jenner on December 19, 1993, in Bellville. They were active members of St. John Lutheran Church. Jerry was a member of the Bellville American Legion Post #115, and Bellville VFW Post #6255. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and UT Longhorns Ball Games. Jerry is survived by his Loving Wife: Beverly “Bee” Machac of Bellville; Bonus Children: Lorri Morris and her husband, Todd, and Mark Mikeska; all of Bellville; Grandchildren: Masen Marie and her husband, Devon, Hunter Morris and his wife, Ariel, and Deacon Morris; great-grandchildren: Charli Rey Marie, and Baby Liam Morris (any day now); Mother: Janice Machac of Bellville; and many other family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Frank Machac, and his brother: Terry Machac.
