Jimmie Lee Brannon, 73, of Fulshear, Texas, passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
Jimmie was born October 24, 1945, in Deridder, Louisiana, the son of Elmer and Hannah (Goins) Brannon. He grew up in Deridder and, on September 18, 1964, married the love of his life, Barbara Pasquale.
In 1965, Jimmie moved to Texas where he became a design engineer in the petroleum industry. After a career of over forty years, Jimmy retired from Dow Chemical in 2009. He loved his job but his passion was for gardening and anything to do with nature. This passion led him to become a Certified Texas Master Naturalist. Jimmy was also a proud member of the Four Winds Tribe, Louisiana Cherokee Confederacy.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of over 54 years: Barbara Pasquale Brannon of Fulshear; daughter: Kim Campbell and her husband, Scott, of East Bernard, Texas; son: Scott Brannon and his wife, Shauna, of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren: Sydney, Lindsey, Ashley, Haley, and Wesley; and one great-grandchild: Colton.
He was preceded by his parents: Elmer and Hannah Brannon; grandson: Clay; and brother, Joey.
