Joe Terryl "Terry" Bearden

JOE TERRYL “TERRY” BEARDEN, 65, of Houston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Houston, Texas.

Terry was born February 3, 1957, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, the son of Joe M. and Ann (Aldridge) Bearden.  He grew up and attended schools in the Houston area.  Terry was united in marriage to Vickey Oanh, on December 28, 2000, in Houston, Texas.  Terry was employed as a computer technician. In his early years, he was employed by Texaco and later worked in IT. Terry also taught English in Bejing for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the piano, trumpet, and saxophone. He also loved tinkering with things and loved animals, especially cats. Terry was always known as a jokester and loved to make people laugh.

Terry is survived by his wife: Vickey Bearden of Houston; son: Joe Mikkel of Houston; daughter: Cia Baze; mother: Ann Bearden of Weston Lakes; sister: Denise Marsden and husband, Rich, of Katy; nieces: Britney and Kaleia Marsden; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe M. Bearden.
