JOHN “JACK” ARTHUR LEPPARD, JR., 86, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, in Katy, Texas.
Jack, who lived a full life and was a man who very few forgot with his outgoing personality, was born March 27, 1934, in Houston, Texas, to parents John Arthur Leppard, Sr. and Mary Martin (Bowles) Leppard. He grew up in the Heights, graduating from St. Thomas High School, Class of ‘52. Jack took the call to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War stationed in Germany. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pattison. Jack owned Aire-Technics, a family operated HVAC service company. He loved being at the office, coming everyday until his passing. Jack also enjoyed sports, especially the Astros, coaching kids, playing cards, gambling and traveling, Lake Travis being his favorite destination.
Jack is survived by his daughter: Peggy Elizabeth Leppard of Brenham; sons: Mark Allen Leppard and wife, Kim, of Brookshire and Steven Ray Leppard and wife, Susan, of Round Top; grandchildren: Faith Rene Pitman and husband, Kobey, of Montgomery, Sarah Elizabeth Morey and husband, Josh, of Hempstead, Amanda Rae Rogers and husband, Jacob, of The Woodlands, Emma Kathleen Leppard of Round Top, John “Jed” Edward Leppard of Round Top, Samuel John Leppard of Brookshire, Hannah Ruth Leppard of Brookshire, and Rebecca Mary Leppard of Brookshire; great-grandchildren: Colton Ashton Bailes, Brooke Addison Bailes, and Jaydyn Allen Reese; sister: Mary Gay Fuller and husband, Jay, of Elkhart; brothers: Joseph Maurice Leppard of Elkhart and Jeffery Lee Leppard and wife, Jo Ann, of Elkhart; and sister-in-law: Jeannie Leppard of Elkhart; numerous nephews and nieces who he adored.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife: Geraldine Leppard; parents: John and Mary Leppard; and brother: Thomas Choice Leppard.
