John Mark Necker

John Mark Necker, age 63, of Sealy, Texas, entered the gates of Heaven October 17th, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. John was born June 4th, 1955, the son of Edward and Ruth Necker, in Bellville, Texas.  John graduated from Bellville High School in 1974. John loved spending time with his family and helping others. He especially enjoyed the many years he spent as a law enforcement officer, serving his local community in Austin County. He was a member in good standing of the Shepherd’s Way Church and served as the head usher at the church for 24 years.  John was a great servant and was loved by all who attended his church. John would arrive at church several hours before the Sunday service to make sure that all was in order before the service began.  He will be greatly missed. John is survived by his wife of 39 Years, Rosie (Resendez) Necker of Sealy; son, Bobby Necker, his wife Lynsie, and grandchildren Lauryn and Luke Necker. He is also survived by his mother Ruth Necker; brother Ed (Lisa)Necker; sisters, Cheryl (Tim) Garner, Mary (Tom) Sheehan, Dorcas (Doug) Schroeder, Debra (Ray) Morgan, and Becky (David) Byers. He is also survived by his Mother and Father-in-Law, Manuel and Frances Resendez; brother and sister-in-laws, Bea (Mike) Goss, Manuel (Dianne) Resendez, Lydia (George) Gaston, Louis (Kareen) Resendez, Louisa Skaggs, Mary Ann Davis, and Lisa Resendez. He is preceded in death by his father Edward Necker, his brother Paul Necker, and grandparents Herbert and Calli Necker. At Johns request, his body will be donated for the advancement of medical science.
