Joseph "Joe" Andrew Gebhardt, Jr.

JOSEPH ANDREW GEBHARDT, JR., 61, of Sealy, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born January 21, 1960, in Pasadena, Texas, the son of Joseph Andrew, Sr., and Helen Elizabeth (Claypool) Gebhardt.  Joe grew up and attended schools in the Galena Park area, graduating from Galena Park High School.  After graduation, he attended the Texas A&M Fire Academy.  Joe was united in marriage to Donna Marie Gilbert, on July 14, 1988, in Houston, Texas.  They made their home in Sealy, where he was active with the Houston Rodeo Association, and the Elks Lodge.  In his spare time, he enjoyed happy hour.

Joe is survived by his wife: Donna Gebhardt of Sealy; daughter: Brandy Reagin and her husband, Thomas, of Sealy; sons: Shannon Dee Grisham and his wife, Teresa, of Conroe, and Gary Chance Blankenship of Sealy; granddaughters: Ashleigh Leazer, Morgan Legg, Shelby Grisham, and Jadeyn Blankenship; grandsons: Cody Andrew Donaldson, Tristan Grisham, and Cory Donaldson; mother: Helen Elizabeth Gebhardt; sisters: Helen Jackson and her husband, Chuck, and Laurie Wheway and her husband, Ashley; niece: Elizabeth Bauman; nephew: Charles Kinard, and Nick Jackson; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Gebhardt.
