Juana Maria Ibarra

Juana “Juanita” Maria Ibarra, 56, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her home in Brookshire, Texas.

Juanita was born May 24, 1965, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Faustino and Esperanza (Montalvo) Loredo. She grew up in the San Luis Potosi area until 1986, when she made her home in Brookshire, Texas. Juanita was a dedicated caregiver at Brookwood Community in Brookshire for many years. She nourished her faith as a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pattison. Juanita was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren taking them shopping and out to the park. Juanita enjoyed tending to her garden admiring the beauty of her flowers, especially her roses.

She is survived by her father:  Faustino Loredo; daughter:  Irma Ibarra of Brookshire; sons:  Oscar and Adrian Ibarra, both of Brookshire; grandchildren:  Melody Oviedo, Adriana Ibarra, Genesis Ibarra, Anthony Ibarra; sisters:  Virginia and Cirila Loredo, both of Mexico, Maria Loredo of Brookshire, and Ventura Loredo and husband Pablo Martinez of San Luis Potosí; brothers:  Miguel Loredo and wife, Yulima of Waller and Samuel Loredo and wife, Rosa of Marble Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Juanita is preceded in death by her mother: Esperanza Montalvo.
