Katarina Gutierrez

Katarina Gutierrez, 88, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

She was born February 13, 1936, in Brookshire, Texas to Eleodoro and Martina Tristan.

Katarina grew up in Brookshire, Texas where she attended school. She strengthened her faith in the Lord as a member of Iglesia Evangelica Enfoque Familia Church of Brookshire and El Shaddai of Katy. She loved and cared for the most important thing in her life, her family.

She is survived by her husband: Santos Gutierrez of Brookshire; brother: Steve Tristan of Houston; children: Mary Reyna, Kathy Stroud and husband Clifford of Brookshire, Manuel Reyna Jr. and Girlfriend Cindy of Corpus Christi, Tx.; grandchildren: Clifford of Brookshire, Tx., Mirranda and husband David Whetzel of Katy, Tx., Benjamin and wife Rachel of Brookshire, Tx., and Natalie of Brookshire, Tx.; great grandchildren: Cidney, Riley, Winry, Vanelope, and Anakin.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Eleodoro Juan Tristan and Martina Hermosillo Tristan; siblings: Jose Lorenzo Tristan, Bruna Elidia Tristan, Frank Tristan, Tiofilo Joe Tristan, Tom Tristan, John Tristan, And Dora Tristan Castaneda husbands: Manuel Reyna and Antonio Galan; sons: Michael Tristan and Cornelio Reyna.

She will be missed tremendously by her family friends and community.
