Katherine Ellis

KATHERINE (WILSON) ELLIS, 62, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, in Houston, Texas, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Kathy was born August 21, 1957, in Houston, Texas.  The daughter of Ulmer H. and Betty Jean (Newson) Wilson, she grew up and attended school in Houston.

On August 3, 1974, Kathy was united in marriage with Charles Ellis in Houston.  They have made their home in Brookshire and have been members of the Monaville Baptist Church.

Kathy had been employed as a clerk for the Waller County Tax  Office in Brookshire for 17 1/2 years.  She loved animals, enjoyed doing crafts, and, in recent years, she enjoyed maintaining their property and watering her yard.

Kathy is survived by her husband of over 45 years:  Charles Ellis of Brookshire; daughter:  Charlene Trentham and her husband, Brad, of Willis; sister:  Christine Fortune and her husband, Blue, of Hockley; brothers:  Frankie Wilson and his wife, Gwen, of Houston, Danny Wilson and his wife, Vanessa, of Houston, and David Wilson and his wife, Diana, of Houston; father-in-law and mother-in-law; Charles and Ruth Ellis of Brookshire; brother-in-law: Rick Ellis and wife, Brenda, of Houston; "Adopted Daughter":  Carmen Clary; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
