Kenneth Nelson Harvey

Kenneth Nelson Harvey, 70, of Simonton, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2022. He was born on July 30, 1951 in Harlingen, Texas.

He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara Harvey.

He is survived by his husband/partner: Junrey Harvey of Simonton, Texas; father: Lonnie Harvey of Kingsville, Texas; his brother: Larry Harvey and his wife, Lori, of Friendswood, Texas; sons: Alan Harvey of Simonton, Texas, Christopher Harvey of Simonton, Texas, Stephen Harvey and his wife, Melody, of El Paso, Texas, and Robert Harvey and his wife, Katherine, of Victoria, Texas. He also is survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ken worked many years as a high school band director in Rock Springs and George West, but then changed his career field to computer software, working for Hyphen Solutions. He was probably known as the #1 fan and supporter of Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas, where he ran the Texas A&I Alumni Association Store.

A private family burial was conducted on July 21, 2022, with Schmidt Funeral Home in Brookshire, Texas, taking care of the arrangements.
