It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Lippitt Peterson. Born on April 14, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, Kimberly left this world peacefully on January 10, 2024, at her home. She was a beloved daughter, devoted mother, cherished sister and aunt, and a dear friend to many.

Kimberly is survived by her children, Shelby Peterson, Ashley Peterson, and Domineik Peterek. Her parents, Cheri Jones and Doug Lippitt, and siblings, Ronne Lippitt and Doc Lippitt, will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Kimberly's journey through life was marked by joyous moments and meaningful connections. As a high school cheerleader, she brought spirit and enthusiasm to those around her. Her love for the Renaissance Festival showcased her vibrant and adventurous spirit, and she had a talent for making friends wherever she went.

Kimberly had a special place in her heart for her grand puppies, and her love for them knew no bounds. Her compassionate and nurturing nature extended not only to her family but also to her furry companions.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Kimberly will be held on February 24, 2024, at 1 pm at Schmidt Funeral Home (819 Waller Ave, Brookshire, TX 77423). A private family burial will follow the celebration. Flowers may be sent to Schmidt Funeral Home.

The family kindly requests that friends and loved ones share stories and memories on the funeral home's website. Additionally, attendees are invited to bring a photo and write a memory on the back or a notecard to be included in a memory book.
