Larry Gene "Shorty" Falk

LARRY GENE “Shorty” FALK, 71, of Bellville, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in Bellville.

He was born July 5, 1948, in Bellville, Texas, the son of Otto, Sr. and Lottie (Mewis) Falk. Larry grew up and attended schools in the Bellville area. He was employed as a concrete truck driver for Huebner Concrete in Bellville for many years.

Larry is survived by his daughters: Rachel Oldag of Midland and Rebecca Castillo of Sealy; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; step-children: Sam Martinez, Jr. and Christina Martinez; step-grandchildren; sister: Erma Lou Coskey and her husband, Norman, of Houston; brothers: Otto J. Falk, Jr. and his wife, Lourene, of Bellville and Jeffery Lynn Falk of Bellville; half-brother: Douglas Mewis and his wife, Catherine, of Sugarland; mother-in-law: Gladys Gilliam; brother-in-law: Rick Tenny of Wimberly; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Falk, Parents, Otto, Sr. and Lottie Falk, sister Ida Idell Tenny, and niece, Alisa Rybarski.
