Larry Edward Peterek

LARRY EDWARD PETEREK, 55, a lifelong resident of Brookshire, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020, in Houston, Texas.

Larry was born on August 21, 1965, in Sealy, Texas, the son of Ernest and Mary (Hanzelka) Peterek. He grew up in Brookshire, graduating from Royal High School. Larry had been employed in the Harris County maintenance department. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing, collecting cars, and rescuing and caring for animals.

He is survived by his wife: Judy Ann Morris of Brookshire; sons: Kyle Peterek and Lauren of Seattle, WA and Kevin Peterek and Paige of Houston; sisters: Donna Peterek of Brookshire and Suzy Zepeda and husband, Jay, of Pattison; brothers: Ernest “Buddy” Peterek and wife, Diane, of Brookshire, Frank Peterek and wife, Gayla, of Katy, Johnny Peterek of Brookshire, and Marvin Peterek of Brookshire; granddaughter: Scarlett Quinn Olson of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Mary Peterek; sister: Mary Vern; brother-in-law: Larry Vern; and nephew: Mark Vern.
