Larry Dean Wisenor

LARRY DEAN WISENOR, 69, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, in Houston, Texas.

He was born September 26, 1953, in Monroe, Louisiana, the son of Lynn and Thelma (Phillips) Wisenor.  Larry grew up and attended school in Monroe and graduated from Wossman High School with his high school sweetheart, Debbie Oakes.  They were united in marriage to Debbie, on August 31, 1973, in Monroe.

Larry spent most of his working years in the oil business.  He was employed with Global Marine, Santa Fe, Seadrill, and Ensco; travelling to many places; including Africa, Alaska, Holland, Norway, and residing in Bahrain and Dubai for four years.

For the last 5 years, he was employed as a Lead Maintenance Supervisor for Daikin Comfort Technologies in Waller.  Larry and Debbie moved from Monroe to Cat Spring, then back to Monroe for four years, before calling Bellville home.

In his spare time, he enjoyed drag racing, hunting, and anything that has to do with Jeeps.

Larry was well known for his hard work and dedication to all the companies he worked for and everything he did.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend: Debbie Wisenor of Bellville; brother: Randy Wisenor and his wife, Debbie, of West Monroe, LA; sister-in-law: Clara Hagan and her husband, David, of Murfreesboro, TN; his nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and dear friends.

He will be missed by his sweet fur babies: Bentley, Ellie, George, and Casey’s baby girl: Gypsy.

Larry was preceded in death by his precious daughter: Casey Wisenor; parents: Lynn and Thelma Wisenor Patten; stepfather: Arley Patten; and brother: Mark Wisenor.
