Lonny Ray Latimer, 80, of Bellville, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022.
Lonny was born October 1, 1941, in Chanute, Kansas, to parents Leo Latimer and Erma Jeanne Stark. His mother was later remarried to Paul Harvey Smith who raised Lonny as his own. Lonny and his family made there home in several cities before reaching Houston. On April 14, 1982, Lonny was united in marriage to Marlene Green in Houston, Texas. During his working years, he was regulatory coordinator in the oil and gas industry. In his spare time, Lonny had a passion for Indy car racing and was a wine aficionado.
He is survived by his wife: Marlene Latimer of Bellville; daughters: Lisa Field and husband, Brian, of Canyon Lake and Kristie Tomlinson and husband, Brent, of Platt City, MO; granddaughters: Ashley, Emily, Bethany, Kailey, and Hanna; grandsons: Alex, Devon, Jake, and Riley; and great-grandchildren: Luke, Adeline, Oliver, Nash, Lilly, Ellie, and Hank.
Lonny was preceded in death by his parents.
