Luciano Ruiz, Jr.

LUCIANO RUIZ, JR., 41, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in Houston, Texas.

He was born September 20, 1979, in Brenham, Texas, the son of Luciano and Candelaria (Perez) Ruiz.  Luciano grew up in the Bleiblerville area, graduating from Bellville High School.  He was employed as a truck driver for Bernardo Trucking.

Luciano was united in marriage to Kristen Atnipp, on August 31, 2013, in St. John, Texas.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, barbequing, anything auto mechanic, and hunting.  He had a love for Whataburger and annoying his wife and children.

Luciano is survived by his loving wife of 7 years: Kristen Ruiz of Bellville; daughters: Morgan Ruiz of Industry, Emmy Ruiz and Abby Ruiz, both of Bellville; parents: Luciano and Candelaria Ruiz of Sealy; sister: Laura Spiteri and her husband, Phil, of Katy; aunts: Maria, Estella, Minerva, Francisca, and Rosa; uncles: Juan, Ruben, Lalo, and Jose’; Father-in-law and mother-in-law: Allen and Marilyn Cerny of Praha; sister-in-law: Sandi Atnipp of Flatonia; and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, other family and dear friends.

Pallbearers are Phil Spiteri, Michael Sanders, Chris Ables, Leon Pustejovsky, Justin Masson, Ronnie Thrasher, Brad Jozwaik, and Jason Leitko.

Honorary pallbearers are Luciano Ruiz, Sr., Courtney Spiteri, Brandon Spiteri, and Caitlyn Spiteri.
