Marvin J Semora, 90, of Sealy, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017, in Columbus, Texas. He was born December 23, 1926, in Yoakum, Texas, the son of Oscar Francis and Lillie Lorene (Moore) Semora. Marvin served in the United States Army during World War II, in both the Pacific and European theatres. He also served during the Korean conflict in the United States Navy. Marvin never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all relatives and friends. He is survived by his sister: Melba Beverlin of Austin, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ella Mae; his parent, Francis Oscar and Lillie Lorene (Moore) Semora; and eight brothers and sisters, Gertrude Matecek, Noah Samora, Bernice Semora, Lewis Semora, Letha Henneke, Irene Seitz, Molly Nolen and Vera Obenhaus.
